Saturday, May 21, 2022 saw seven new records set at Camarillo Rotary's Hap Rapp Memorial Track Meet, held at Adolfo Camarillo High after a two-year absence due to Covid. The meet began in 1960, and is the club's oldest community service event, offering local elementary and middle school boys and girls the opportunity to compete for ribbons and trophies.
Setting records in the Girls Division were Mia Lawhon (St. Mary Magdalen) in the Class BB 1600 Meter Run, Katie Jenkins (Los Primeros Structured) in the Class BB Shot Put, Emily Ruff (CAPE) in the Class EE 100 Meter Dash and the Monte Vista team in the Class DD 400 Meter Relay.
In the Boys Division, records were set by Micah Dickran (Los Primeros Structured) in the Class A 1600 Meter Run, Jacobus Hogendorp (Santa Rosa) in the Class D 1600 Meter Run and the Los Primeros Structured team in the Class E 400 Meter Relay.
